Lockdown has affected us all differently but most of us have had the luxury of technology and internet access...
We've been supporting families by providing iPads and internet dongles to help them stay connected with us and our activities as well as their friends and families.

Oasis Cardiff has partnered with Save The Children Emergency Response team to provide support to vulnerable asylum seekers and refugee families during Covid-19. This support has been made available for expectant mothers (28 weeks plus) and women or families with children aged 0-6, enabling access early educational resources and practical in-home support via furniture, prams, and bedding for example, which would otherwise not be accessible due to financial hardship and Covid-19 social restrictions.

Through telephone and zoom call assessments, the family support teams at Oasis have been reaching out to those in need, so far supporting 65 families in Cardiff, and continue to do so during the Covid-19 pandemic to ensure crucial educational and fun opportunities are not missed and families get off to the right start!
