Ayyub is an asylum seeker from Tanzania who moved to Cardiff 6 months ago and is currently awaiting an interview with the home office to determine whether he can remain in the UK. This Documentary film is a journey into the heart of the refugee crisis. It is filmed and produced by Curtis Hughes, who met Ayyub while volunteering at Oasis. As a result of trust, Curtis gained intimate access into Ayyub’s life and after becoming friends, felt a strong desire to show the bleak struggles that refugees and asylum seekers experience behind closed doors. This film is a testament to Ayyub and all that find themselves in a battle against the asylum process.
