We worked with Cardiff Council and Taff Housing to provide urgent support to Afghan families in Wales, following the regime change in August. We are so glad to announce that we raised nearly £5000 to help Afghan families rebuild their lives in Wales.

Funds donated through the Cardiff Afghan Families Appeal were used to provide a range of essential goods and services, which families told us were very much needed. Although the Government provided both immediate housing and emergency accommodation, with support from Councils across Wales, there was a range of needs not covered by statutory funds, so we are so grateful for the support for this appeal.

Your donations allowed families to access essential services and items which helped build their independence, and supported them as they settled in Wales.
