Oasis has been featured in a powerful new outdoor photography exhibition at Bermondsey’s More London near Tower Bridge. The series, produced by UNHCR, The UN Refugee Agency, and Panos Pictures, features portraits by award-winning photographer Andrew Testa telling the stories of individuals, organisations, and communities across the UK who are welcoming people who have been forced to flee their homes in other countries.

The article features Oasis' Global Eats trailer and Alis' journey from volunteer to Catering Manager. You can read the full article here. Our Global Eats trailer serves a Latin inspired menu in our carpark at 69b Splott Road, from 12:00 - 14:30 - come by and try some of our tasty dishes!

See below some of Testa's incredibly photography of the Oasis centre and our incredible catering team.

Volunteers prepare the daily lunch in the Oasis Cardiff kitchen, overseen by kitchen manager Songyeon.

“From that moment, when my mum volunteered me, Oasis saved me,” says Alis, who has found friendship, career direction and a community at Oasis.

The four main dishes served in the Global Eats food truck - pupusas, baleadas, tacos and quesadillas –represent Alis’ home region and are all made from scratch by the Oasis team.
