VOLUNTEER ROLES

Please note, due to the high number of applications we have had in 2020 for volunteering we have decided to close volunteer applications until the end of the year, if you are interested in volunteering please do check back here to see what opportunities we have in January 2021 and get in touch.

We have a wide variety of activities and trips that happen each week in our centre, around Cardiff and beyond. These could not continue to run without the support of volunteers. If you are passionate about teaching then ESOL classes may be for you. There are opportunities to share your art and craft skills, sports skills, music skills, and much more.

Do you enjoy indulging in a bit of self-care and sharing health and beauty tips?

If so, join the weekly women’s health and beauty project. It is a great opportunity to meet women from different cultures and learn how women across the globe empower themselves and each other.

If customer service and hospitality is your thing then we have roles for you too such as, receptionists, catering, and cinema clubs.

Do you love working with young children?

We are always looking for energetic people to help with the créche.

Integration is a key part of what Oasis Cardiff does and we need enthusiastic volunteers to help to take people out and about on trips and into the local community.

Good communication is the key to any successful charity and if you have skills we can utilise in this area we would love to hear from you. Are you adept at Social media?

If you would love to volunteer but are unable to commit regularly then we also have projects for you. Oasis Cardiff needs help with one-off events, including celebratory parties and fundraising events.

Volunteers are expected to embrace the Oasis ethos. Everyone, regardless of background, are seen as equals and are treated as such. Mutual levels of respect within the team ensure that support and guidance are shared with equal measures to all. It is expected that during volunteering time, all members work diligently, and to the highest standards to achieve a positive outcome.

CURRENT VOLUNTEER ROLES & DESCRIPTIONS:

All volunteer roles are currently filled, please visit this page again in January 2021 to check out our new volunteer opportunities.
