VEVEREST FUNDRAISER

Remember our Cycle Cardiff Share to Repair fundraiser?
Well, we had an amazing offer from one of our supporters who has revived our fundraiser and take on the mammoth challenge of virtually cycling the equivalent of Mont Ventoux which is one of the biggest climbs of the Tour De France.
A team of six supporters completed the ascent six times over in one stint, meaning they cycled for 10-15 hours in one go! 
They managed to raise an amazing £1,719.96!
On 20st December 2020, cyclists from Cardiff Ajax Cycling Club undertook the vEverest Challenge. For some of our riders, this was their second vEverest of the year.

vEveresting means that they Cycled up Ventop (https://zwiftinsider.com/route/ven-top/) a 1500m climb in Zwift until they have completed 8848m of vertical ascent.
