The Health Workshop runs on the first Tuesday of the month from 2pm to 3pm. The sessions are led by a local GP, assisted by a refugee doctor and are aimed at all asylum seekers and refugees. There are a variety of topics including: General Health and How to Access Services, Women’s Health and PTSD. We also ran an introductory First Aid course led by St. John’s Ambulance which we hope to do again.

If you want to get involved as a volunteer, you can apply to become a Health Ambassador to promote the workshops within your community and encourage people to come. We provide basic training to volunteers on how to signpost people to appropriate services.
